Child sponsorship is critical. In Costa Rica, many children live on less than $2 a day. Child sponsorship, which connects a child with a sponsor, is the most strategic way to help them in their impoverished condition. Through a Kids program, a relationship with a local church, and a loving sponsor, a child is able to discover his or her true value.

How Child Sponsorship Works
Metro Ministries operates in some of Costa Rica's most impoverished and conflicted areas. Innocent children growing up in these areas often face hunger, poverty, exploitation,and lack on many levels. Sponsorship connects a sponsor with a child living in these challenging conditions, Sponsors can build relationships and make a difference in the lives of these children. Through our sponsorship program, every sponsor can share letters of encouragement, gifts, photos and videos. Sponsors receive a photograph of their sponsored child as well as annual updates.
What Your Monthly Giving Provides
Your monthly contribution helps Metro Ministries reach out to children in poor neighborhoods and bring them love and hope. We constantly remind them of their importance and value to us and to God.We can't say enough about how just this alone has impacted our children into becoming the teens they are today. They know they have not been forgotten. In addition, your sponsorship helps provide the children with Christmas toys and school supplies, as well as other resources when funds permit.

Sponsoring a child allows you to witness a miracle firsthand, following your child's growth as he or she is nurtured to health, educated, and exposed to the gospel of Jesus Christ every week.
