How Your Monthly Sponsorship Makes a Difference
Your sponsorship can change a child's life forever. It not only provides access to basic needs such as food, clothing, and healthcare but also opens doors to opportunities that can change their future. In addition, the emotional and spiritual support you provide will help them build confidence, and hope and see life in a positive way. Every letter, word of encouragement or act of support reminds them that they are not alone and that someone believes in them.
How Child Sponsorship Works
Metro Ministries operates in some of the most impoverished and conflicted areas of Costa Rica. Innocent children growing up in these areas often face hunger, poverty, and exploitation on many levels.
Sponsorship connects a sponsor with a child living in these difficult conditions, allowing sponsors to establish meaningful relationships and make a difference in the lives of these children.
Through our sponsorship program, each sponsor can share letters of encouragement, gifts, photos, and videos with the child, and vice versa.
Sponsors will also receive photos of their sponsored child, letters, drawings made by the child, as well as annual updates on their progress.
This ongoing interaction helps create a special bond and provides the children with much-needed emotional and material support.

Information about Tax Deductions and Administrative Fees
All your sponsorship donations will be tax-deductible in the following countries: Germany, England, Switzerland, Canada, and the United States.
When you sponsor a child, you can even choose to visit the child you sponsor. You can transform a child's life from one of hardship and loneliness to one of hope and meaning. You have the opportunity to bring the love of Christ directly to a child in need.
Each child who attends Metro's activities needs someone like you to exchange letters, and photos, and pray for him/her. Sponsoring a child allows you to witness a miracle firsthand, following your child's growth as he or she is nurtured to health, educated, and exposed to the gospel of Jesus Christ every week.
The cost to sponsor a child is just $40 per month, and you may discontinue your child sponsorship at any time. Will you give one child that blessing today?
