At Metro Ministries, we believe a Mission Trip is more than a trip,  it’s an opportunity to live out your faith in a real and practical way. It’s a chance to share the love of Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and serve others with compassion.

Each year, Metro Ministries opens its doors to mission teams, inviting them to join us in spreading hope, love, and transformation in the communities we serve. When you come alongside us, you become a meaningful part of the work God is already doing, supporting children, families, and neighborhoods, and leaving a lasting impact on the hearts of those you meet.

When you serve with us, you won’t just complete projects or attend activities. You’ll connect with children and families, encourage young people, children, and witness how God works through simple acts of love. And along the way, your own heart will grow too.

How You Can Serve

There are many ways your team can be involved:

• ·  Leading fun and engaging children’s programs

• ·  Distributing essential supplies to families

• ·  Visiting and praying for families

• ·  Assisting with light construction projects

• ·  Helping with painting projects in homes, schools, or community spaces

• ·  Supporting neighborhood clean-up and community beautification efforts

• ·  Participating in community outreach activities

Every task, big or small, plays a part in sharing hope.

And it’s not all work. Mission teams also have the opportunity to experience Costa Rica’s culture and natural beauty, with planned free-day activities designed to make the trip meaningful and memorable.

Who Can Come?

• Church groups, youth groups, families, and individuals

• Minimum age: 16 (parental consent required if under 18)

• A willing heart, ready to serve others

You don’t need special skills, just a desire to serve.

Can’t Travel? You Can Still Be Part of the Mission.

Not everyone can travel, and that’s okay. You can still be involved:

• Pray for the children and communities we serve

• Give financially to support ongoing programs

• Share the vision with others

The mission continues because people are willing to say “yes” in different ways.
